Wednesday, 8/27/25 - Grand Rapids is coming together for a conversation about the future of our Towpath. On Wednesday, August 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Village Administrator Chad Beyer will meet with residents to share updates and answer questions. The gathering will be held at the home of Christi and Nate Bolton, 24029 Front Street in Grand Rapids, and is sponsored by Grand Growers. In true small-town spirit, neighbors are asked to bring a dish to share, beverages, and a comfortable chair. It’s the kind of evening that feels more like a front-porch visit than a formal meeting—a chance to hear what’s next for the historic Towpath while connecting with friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome, and organizers say they’re looking forward to good food, good company, and a thoughtful look at what’s ahead for our Towpath.
